The JTB Group has been carrying out tourist destination cleanup and planting campaigns, which consist of activities to clean and invigorate tourist spots throughout the world. Within the Americas Group, we see it as an opportunity for our employees from all over the US, Canada, Brazil and parts of Japan and Europe to come together. This event encourages interaction among colleagues from different teams and companies by creating face to face communication through team building activities, training, dinners and the Brighter Earth Project.
The Brighter Earth project allows us to continue to contribute to the local communities with a variety of activities to create a brighter future for everyone. Some previous activities include cleaning tourist destinations, conserving natural environments and beautification, assisting food banks and helping non-profits in events to fund the amazing work they do that align with our mission.
Some previous events were held in:
2023: Rio de Janeiro, New York, Honolulu, Anaheim and Vancouver.
2024: Rio de Janeiro, Orlando, Honolulu, Los Ángeles and Vancouver.
2025: Miami, Rio de Janeiro, Honolulu and Las Vegas.
This event is for all employees to help create a brighter earth, while learning, networking and connecting for our futures.
The Honolulu Festival is Hawaii’s premier cultural event, promoting understanding, economic cooperation and ethnic harmony between the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Rim region. Since 2000, JTB has been an official sponsor and organizer of the event as well as being a main member of a non-profit corporation – the Honolulu Festival Foundation. Each year, the Festival draws thousands of new and returning spectators who are looking for an experience beyond Hawaii.
